Today, a Chinese official made a comment on the Internet development in China at the China Internet Forum 2008.
Cai Mingzhao, the deputy director of National News Agency said there are 3 important development in Chinese Internet during the recent years:
1. In terms of application field, Internet are expanding from information spreading and entertainment to business. It will require a better construction of the online credit system
2. In terms of service model, Internet is change its role from information service provider to information platform. Web 2.0, like blog and video sharing, become more and more important.
3. In terms of communication means, traditional Internet is extending to mobile Internet.
